What an amazing venue! We got married at Whirlow Brook Hall just over a month ago and it was such an incredible day. We had lots of support from Emma and the team in the run up to the wedding day, answering all of our many questions. We had to make some last minute seating plan changes only a few days before the wedding but they weren’t phased by that, which made us feel less stressed. On the day itself, Jacqueline and Clare were amazing, Jacqueline made me and my bridesmaids feel really well looked after while we were getting ready, and Clare made sure we kept to our schedule and everyone was in the right place at the right time even though it must have been tricky at times when the drinks started flowing!. The venue was absolutely beautifully decorated by Jacqueline, it looked perfect. The grounds at Whirlow Brook are so beautiful and we got some amazing photos, we were so lucky with the weather and the sun was shining all afternoon. We had so many comments from guests about the food and how delicious it was we had the tapas , it really was just a perfect day and we wish we could do it all again. As a professional videographer, I can't recommend Whirlow Brook Hall in Sheffield enough for weddings. The venue is absolutely stunning, nestled in beautiful gardens that provide a perfect backdrop for capturing those magical moments. From the moment you arrive, the historic charm of the hall and the serene atmosphere of the surroundings make it a dream location. The staff are incredibly accommodating and ensure that everything runs smoothly, which makes our job so much easier. The indoor spaces are elegant and well-lit, perfect for capturing intimate moments with family and friends. The outdoor areas are just as impressive, offering plenty of picturesque spots for those perfect shots. The way the light filters through the trees and reflects off the water features is simply breath taking. One of the best things about Whirlow Brook Hall is the versatility. Whether it's a grand celebration or a more intimate gathering, the venue caters to all sizes and styles of weddings. This flexibility allows us to be creative and capture the essence of each unique event. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines beauty, history, and exceptional service, Whirlow Brook Hall is the place to be. It's a joy to work at such a fantastic venue, and the resulting footage is always something special. Highly recommend!
Very nice venue for a intimate wedding or gathering. Glorious grounds it's situated in. Nice friendly staff. Would have been 5 stars if they turned the heating up a bit!
Lovely tranquil place with nice gardens,ponds and walks through and round the hall grounds. Café looks nice on the driveway as well.
Beautiful wedding venue with lovely staff. Been to 2 weddings here as a part of the wedding party. Get ready room provided and 2 large function rooms downstairs with beautiful gardens. Only let down both times I've been has been the food. They desperately need a new chef to take this venue up a gear. My first visit the food was edible but boring and over cooked and the second visit they served risotto to all guests that was completely raw rice and inedible. Staff were kind and clearly embarrassed, and helped to resolve by bringing out chips however. With a new chef this would be a top venue in Sheffield. Leaving this review as the venue really need to know , this is not a one off situation and it's detrimental to the business leaving the chef in post.
We had our wedding here, and we lucked out on the weather and it was amazing. A beautiful venue to celebrate our wedding, the staff there were excellent on the day. Couldn't have asked for more
Nice early spring day Out to get some fresh air. There's a nice cafe here now,built in the old toilet block.
Small wedding venue with beautiful gardens. The interior could do with some character as most of the period features have been removed. Good wedding breakfast and service.
My cousin had her wedding there. The rooms were of a good size, the food was nice.
Didn't visit the hall but there is free parking and the walks around the gardens are very nice. They is also a new coffee shop in the drive up that good.
