Absolutely atrocious company and completely unprofessional! The owner of this company has no awareness or appreciation for tenant's rights. Maintenance requests are no urgent matter to them, and neither are giving notice to enter the property. The landlord attempted to enter my property whilst I was in the shower; with no notice or prior communication of this. This obviously left me feeling very vulnerable and frightened. We have previously gone 4 months with temperamental hot water, over a month with no working washing machine, and months without fully working heaters; despite the contract stating these should be working and resolved asap. Never received an apology or acknowledgement of their problems since moving into this property.

I have just completed my second house purchase through Williamsons and yet again have been extremely happy with the service received from Mark, Lynne and the team. The purchase went smoothly from start to finish. I at all times felt that any queries would be dealt with promptly, phone calls were always returned. In general as stress-free an experience as house buying can be! I would not hesitate to recommend Williamsons and will just conclude with a big thank you!

I am not in the habit of doling out my compliments to businesses readily, so for me to offer a definite 'bouquet' is a clear indication of excellent, all-round performance - so definitely well-earned. In the past 18 months I have bought an apartment in Easingwold. It was advertised with two Easingwold-based Estate Agents: I was previously registered with the other ...who didn't even bother to let me know that this property was available ...despite my having known the local Branch manager for most of ten years. I therefore bought my new home via Williamsons ...and everything went very smoothly. Having moved from my former family home in Haxby' York, then once emptied - which proved to be a major task - then various marketing options were considered, including online (only), and multi-agency, which saw me negotiate with the Haxby representative of the first-mentioned company above: he wanted 2% for sole agency, or 2.5% if multi-agency. Ouch! Willamsons standard offer is 0.75% which is a cost-effective proposition. On a property valued comfortably in excess of £400K, then the decision to go with Willamsons was not complicated! Finally, close friends relocating from the Home Counties North, back to North Yorkshire in their retirement were introduced to the Williamsons team ...and recently completed their purchase, which is just five minutes drive from central Easingwold. The cumulative value of these three transactions comfortably exceeds £1.2 million and all this was achieved with no hassle ...and all the help & friendly co-operation which could reasonably be expected from Mark Williamson's team of Spencer Martin & Lynne Naylor. The quality of communication throughout was excellent. My thanks for this 5-Star service which was friendly, efficient and effective at all times: based on my experience, then I am pleased to endorse the Williamson's team ...which clearly works well in the A19 corridor, from north York to the depths of rural North Yorkshire - AKA 'God's Own County'!
