No big signage board? No problem! Just use google maps! LOL! When you see the rocket keep walk straight past the gate and turn right, walk past by the private hangar, and WOW! You did not expect the welcoming atmosphere by the veterans at the museum. Entrance fee: Free!nDonation: most welcome!nnSuggestions:n1 Find at least 3 non runner planes different models outside the museum for visitors can experience the feeling sitting in the cockpitn2 Big signage price for private air tour around the areas deal with local pilots business about the schedule.n3 Clear signage direction for cars/coaches parking space

A small but interesting museum where you can learn about the long and varied history of IOW aviation. There are friendly volunteers here who are happy to share knowledge. Free to visit.
My son loves planes, so whenever we come back to the IOW we go to the museum and watch the planes come in. We happened to be there just as a guy was wing walking for charity. Good for any plane lovers!
The staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. They all looked happy to answer all the questions my teen asked them. Considering how close it was to a recent terrible accident, their professionalism was outstanding. Was more than happy to give a donation to this small but packed museum. It was appreciated being able to touch the history there. Good value in the gift shop too.
