Great place, staff are all very friendly and the exhibition was fantastic! They have a lot more “actual” fossils on display than even the BIG museum which was great. The thing I liked the most is that if you have something you think is a fossil or .. they have actual palaeontologists available and happy to advise you on the finds - we found a dinosaur bone Also I got to chat to them in the exhibition which was so great and they are all full of enthusiasm for the job Definitely recommend to all dino lover old and young.
My visit to Dinosaur Isle museum's collection of dinosaur fossils and exhibits is truly awe-inspiring. From towering skeletal reconstructions to intricate displays detailing the anatomy and behaviors of various dinosaur species, every corner of the museum offers something new and fascinating to explore. Overall, my experience at Dinosaur Isle Museum was nothing short of wonderful.
We found this place very informative & interesting. Talking to the guys, we learnt a lot about the island & fossils. If it's a rainy day, I would recommend this for your kids. If you visit the zoo a few minutes away, you also get a discount. The only downfall was the expensive parking.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
If you love Dino's then sure come here if your coming just because you don't have alot to do then I would recommend going mini golfing right next door there wasn't much wrong with it overall but I wouldnt take small kids as they would probably get board the only reason we went is because we won the tickets Evie xVisited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

A brilliant attraction which has loads to do and then a room upstairs for colouring in and more dinosaur education along with soft toys of dinosaurs to play with.Visited onWeekdayWait time10–30 minReservation recommendedNo
Great dinosaur museum. Staff there are very friendly and informative. If you ever find a fossil they are happy to look at it and tell you what it is. The museum is very interactive lots of things for kids to touch and figure out what it is. Lots of buttons everywhere to press. We even got to touch real fossilised dinosaur bones and other fossils. This place is wheelchair and Buggy friendly. They have lots of parking spaces around the museum and have a good amount of disabled parking bays. The entrance is on ground level with no steps so easy to get in and out with wheelchairs or baby strollers.
It was good, some great fossils and not that many animatronics but a great gift shop.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Okay, if a bit small. Some of the exhibits were falling apart. Nice to be able to handle the fossils. Gift shop is a rip off.
