Excellent site to visit. Children loved it too. We'll set up with activities for all, including making mosaic tiles. Highly recommended

Excellent informative place. Most impressive was the guide who clearly loved working there and shared her love of the place with us. Incredibly knowledgeable and a great teacher.

Excellent and original mosiac floors. History goes back before the iron age. The museum is neither heated or chilled. The temperature rises up and down with thee season so it always is cooler than expected. Good hands on experience for children. Good food in the café. Only guide dogs are allowed.

Must visit this place! What an experience and a great learning curve of what existed here over 2000 years ago. Can visit in all weathers as sympathetically covered with a great building.

Really, genuinely, very interesting, and would visit again for the mosaics alone... BUT, and I do have a but... The cafe... I went in on my own, of a quiet afternoon and the older guy behind the till was very moody, stroppy about them having finished doing food (or something, i've simmered on it for a while), there were no menus evident at all - I had to guess what coffee I wanted, and I was eventually given it in a dirty cup. I couldn't be bothered to kick up a fuss about it at the time, but i'm actually pretty sure i would just go elsewhere for something to eat after visiting next time.
