Widdicombe Farm

Sue my partner and myself spent one of the best weeks we had ever had last summer at this touring park, friendly and helpful staff, totally brilliant site, spotlessly clean shower and toilet blocks, hedges and grass trimmed and neat, cracking food served in "Poppys" the cafe' / restaurant, and the evening entertainment was superb, especially "Andy Oakley, he will make your eyes water through laughter, we have found the best so why don't you follow our lead ? That is why we are going back for a fortnight this July, My only complaint is the toilet cassette waste disposal is just a hole in the ground opposite the clubhouse, for the lesser supple of us that can have trouble bending almost double to empty the cassette this causes the waste to splash up and over your cloths, legs and feet. I have never ever had this problem with any other caravan site I have visited, this begs the question, why can't Widdicombe Farm get their act together over such a simple thing to correct ? The answer to this problem is to cement a toilet bowl over the waste disposal hole thus stopping any splashback. On all the fully serviced pitches there is a cemented toilet bowl in place, so why do all the other caravanners have to put up with this rather unhygienic disgusting way of waste disposal, surely not the cost implication ?

We have stayed here on 3 occasions this year, we love it. Its an Adult only site, Spotlessly Clean and tidy, well looked after grounds, great food in Poppys Restaurant. Dog friendly site with friendly welcoming staff. ☺

We stayed for three nights, adults only. Lovely site friendly owners and tasty food on site. Great little bar with entertainment for the evening as well as lovely country views.

Widdicombe farm is great, we had an amazing visit and will definitely be going back, we had a problem with our electrics in the caravan and they helped us out. Really friendly staff and lovely restaurant on site. The shower block and toilets spotless.

Lovely kept site with very good amenities and little pub onsite. Lots of toilets and showers. Very good site 👍
