We were very satisfied with the quality/price here at Wickes. Always lovely customer service and helpful staff. We were expected queues as is a very reliable store. However, there was not a waiting line, and the lady at the till extremely quick and serviable. Large car park and lots of trolleys around. Definitely recommend this store
I have been in there recently and purchased items and when you get to the till its dearer. Also today purchased six bags of coal for 46 pound git to till and it was 48 When i challenged them they appeared not to believe me I said go and have a look st ticket. I was in the right. I never got my refund back. Because they did not have a clue on reimbursing me. And the que at the till was building up. Clueless and did not get apology. Good old B and Q from now on
On returning a piece of faulty equipment, the service was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Placing a materials order for delivery was easy and the comms leading up to the delivery was very professional. Keep up the great service.
Absolutely joke running of the store. Website had two itemS in stock - told on phone only one in stock, refund one and take other. Accepted. Got to store refunded both items. Had to pay for the item again with two previous items due to go back in my account in 5 days. So far £210 down. Paid for the item online again as wallet at home given I was supposed to click and collect. This has taken 45 minutes of my time. I’ve paid for the item and taken it out the store - a member of staff comes running out with a little head set shouting “theft” and that I had stolen the item across the car park. Incorrect. A simple click and collect to make things “faster” is a nightmare at this store. Will not be returning here. B&Q is certainly better and worth the extra 10minutes drive, as it would still save me way more time.
Great staff always happy to help you find the item you are looking for. Good selection of stock.
Good range of tiles, found exactly what I needed for my bathroom :
A somewhat confusing experience - possibly my own fault. I'd reserved and paid for something online a kitchen tap and instead of heading straight for the collection point went for a wander round the kitchen department. No one was on duty at the collection point when I got there, and the queue for the tills was huge but someone turned up in less than a minute, checked my name and collection pin and we were done. Easy!
I don't find it easy to navigate in and frankly it has never been my first choice. However, I've visited twice quite recently and they seem to be competitive on price, trouble is others obviously know and the bargain items sell out very quickly.
Went in for advice got a lot more information from well informed young lady who sorted problem hinge and although out of stock ordered for quick delivery thank you
As this is not a very big store, there's limited space, however I was able to find what I was looking for
