I purchased 7 boards and they said if I purchased more than 5 I get them at a lower price so when I was coming to pay I paid 5 at a lower price and the higher price for the other 2 boards which I think is absolutely disgusting and wrong to do. I had to tell them that this was wrong and then the manager got involved. She was rude, arrogant and disrespectful, making very insulting comments against my disability and then once the manager came over she made very racist remarks against my religion. Don't go if your of any ethnic minority in Redditch. Go B&Q. Never be going again.

I like wickes because it's self service but that's the only good thing. The staff are generally useless and most stuff is over priced.

I have a trade account with Wickes as I spend quite a lot of money for materials as part of my trade. They have an offer on at the moment for an extra 15% off. Usually being a trader I get the 15% + 10% as a trader as we did the last bank holiday. Today I purchased 10 boards and wanted to order another 60 boards so, the cashier put it through then asked the manager Adeela if this was ok to pick up Monday. She proceeded to the till with an arrogant attitude by firstly saying "Thers no space Monday so you can't pick up" which I was accommodating and said "I'll pick up Tuesday" but she still wouldn't do it she then Said " I'm removing the 10% trade discount from your order as it doesn't apply but, last bank holiday was fine so I asked her why? She then said " I don't make the rules can you put your card in and then take the card out in an abrupt manner". Please be aware all traders you may get your extra 10% as a loyal customer but if she's serving you may not, depending on her mood! I will be reporting this to head office as I don't think it's fair to treat loyal traders with this mannerism!
