Terrible experience of getting a kitchen. The service was terrible. The experience extra stressful. They do not manage the work, everyone is a subcontractor, no one calls you to make sure all is okay, when you ring them, nothing happens. The fitter was stressed and agitated, didn't do all the work needed, missed of finishing touches, didn't clean up, didn't do anything to stop dust and dirt spread throughout our open plan house. The designer didn't consider how doors would foul and dent. Lack of communication between, designer, fitter, Wickes head office, work top fitter, worktop supplier. An all together abysmal experience that appears to be normal. The only good thing I can say is that the units themselves seem fine, the worktops are fine. Although we are waiting for the upstands to be made, shipped and fitted because someone missed them off.

Inadequate customer service, Original delivery was full of the wrong products, the second delivery was cancelled on the day of delivery as the store called to say it was out of stock (on the actual day ?? they didn't know this beforehand) and now I sit here waiting in for the 3rd attempt for a delivery between 8.15 am and 12.15pm ... currently running one hour late with no explanation received. We will NEVER use Wickes again.

Response from customer care email extremely slow and via telephone help line non existent as call stays on hold for an eternity.
