I've shopped in Laurie's a few times over the years. I've bought a lovely coffee table there which is very solid and was a good price, as well as two king sized mattresses. Every time I have been there, the owners have been upbeat and helpful and they have been more than happy to help me with information about their products in order to help me make an informed and confident decision. Recently I bought my second king sized mattress from there after the original one came to the end of its life. Liz took time to explain to me the differences between the mattresses; I think, in an unbiased manner. I wasn't rushed or pressured. I did visit another local shop afterwards, but quite hontestly there was no comparison, as in the other shop I wasn't given very useful information, and I felt Lauries had a good selection of matresses for good prices anyway. So I came straight back and bought one at lauries again. I've had the mattress a few weeks now. Just like a new pair of shoes it takes a while to get used to it and soften it up a bit, but now I love it. Excellent service from Laurie's!

They have a great stock of beds and furniture here. The shop is a lot bigger than it looks from outside. the team are really friendly. The prices are very fair.
