This is a great place and we brought some Fruit Trees over here as a housewarming gift for my son who lives in Bridgewater. We had a great time shopping. We also got a photo frame for him to mount some memories. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in the staff are so polite and professional. My granddaughter also enjoyed looking at the small things for the children.
The staff here are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Product knowledge is good, prices are sensible and often lower than elsewhere. Navigating the stocks is simplicity itself and their promotion merchandising is most attractive . You will have to go a very long way before you can find anywhere to outperform these people.
I came to The Range in Bridgwater today after seeing a promotion on dog food three days ago. The same offer was still displayed on the promo stand — 12 kg for £12.99 — so I made a special trip back. At the till, I was told the price was actually £29.99. Even the cashier wasn’t sure and brought the promo label to the till, which turned out to belong to a different product.nnAs a customer, I don’t believe it’s my job to double-check product codes when a clear promotional label is displayed. The store manager was unhelpful and dismissive, showing no concern for the misleading pricing or the wasted journey. Very disappointed — I wouldn’t recommend shopping here, as misleading promotions and poor customer service seem to be acceptable.
.This branch is one of the smaller ones. However it is still crammed with lots of stuff you struggle to find elsewhere. They also do integrate WILKO . The garden centre is sparse..
I had an extremely disappointing experience at The Range in Bridgwater. I tried to return or exchange a product that was missing a part, and the staff were completely unhelpful.nnEven though I no longer had the receipt, I provided a bank statement as proof of purchase. Instead of making any effort to check their system or help resolve the issue, staff refused to assist and showed no interest in finding a solution. No flexibility, no customer care.nnTo make matters worse, I was told to contact Head Office, despite the fact that it’s common knowledge you can’t actually speak to anyone — just an automated bot. This felt like a deliberate way to pass the problem on rather than deal with it properly in-store.nnOverall, the attitude and lack of support were unacceptable. I won’t be shopping at this store again and would advise others to be cautious if something goes wrong with their purchase.
