We weren’t sure which nails to buy for the appropriate weight of the frames we were putting up. So we asked a staff member. He was incredibly rude - very condescending and made it seem like our fault for not being clued up. Even a 2nd staff member backed us up saying well they’re asking because they’re not sure. Not everyone is a tradesman. Made us reluctant to come back.

Wickes have stock you'll need if you're doing a DIY job. The prices are pretty competitive with other hardware stores and on other websites.nnThey have bathroom displays and design.nnNever had to deal with management. Staff have been ok. There's a security desk by the front.nnThey do delivery.

Products are good, but designers only have a very outdated software and looks completely different from simulation. Delivery is definitely worst part, absolutely no communication and things randomly appear whenever the delivery company decides

Excellent branch of Wickes. We live nearby and have used them for many years. I haven’t experienced any issues with staff in over 10 years I’ve lived here. There’s also a great selection of garden plants by the front entrance at very decent prices. Someone should water them now and again, though, as they dry out quickly in the summer heat and become necrotised.
