Great small family park next to Whitworth Art Gallery. Beloved of university students and nearby residents.
Nice park, plenty of seats, outdoor exercise etc museum and cafe is nice when allowed to open
I live locally and love this park. It's small but is being very well maintained in recent years - includes beautiful planted and wildflower gardens near the Whitworth art gallery, an outdoor gym facility and play area. Gates open at 8am and close at dusk every day.
Perfect place for a walk in the evenings after work!
Great place for family and friends to meet up. Lovely day. Ice cream van parked up. Plenty of other food places near by.
Fair size, right next to curry mile. Has a nice appearing cafe and art gallery- haven't visited yet. Some unkempt/cleanliness issues but overall fair stuff.
Lovely established park, fabulous array of plants and trees, great playground for kids. And of course houses the Whitworth gallery with a slightly posh but reasonably priced cafe overlooking the park. Wheelchair accessible.
WEll looked after municipal park that has a long history. Originally had a small lake, which was filled in many years ago. The Whitworth Art Gallery is on one side, with some art installations within the park itself. Although some people use them as gym equipment at times!! Really pleasant park to rest and get some peace and quiet.
