20k hike from Manchester City Centre to Rochdale. Great day out.
Very nice for a walk during summer. Nice and clean place always great for a short cut to places. A lot of dog walkers and cycling activities going on all the time.
I ran this from Shaw to the city one morning and it actually felt fairly safe and clean. Judging by the street art and residents signs they want to keep it a nice place. It's very walkable and many people were riding to work along it.
Hi its really amazing walks around the canal and also very massive gardens and activity areas around the Hebden bridge Rochdale canal. Please see Hebden bridge canal video in my YouTube channel Farukh syed fitness first in your life thanks.
The walkj on the canal from smithybridge to walsden is really lovely. You can always get the train back if it proves too much. There is a lovely tea room just after summit called the waterfall.
