Visiting Whittaker Wells is a whole new curtain-choosing experience, helped by the very knowledgeable Ryan, who after listening will guide you through a wider range of spectacular fabrics than you might have hoped for. All this is done in a really comfortable and friendly atmosphere, created by Ryan's and Pete's enthusiasm. Having chosen the fabric, all the measurements and final design details were carefully checked. The finished curtains and matching cushions were beautifully made, and my lounge has been transformed. This is the shop to come to if you feel scared or unsure of what to do with your house and interior design. We had our own likes and dislikes but were scared they wouldn't be right...this is where Ryan and Pete are just brilliant. They don't tell you what to have, or try and put their own particular stamp on your house, they guide you through what YOU like and offer up different options and ideas. It's a great process, and they are endlessly patient. We have had gorgeous curtains and blinds made in fabrics that are fantastic - and if we'd have gone to a high street store for them, probably would have chickened out and gone 'safe'. The colours throughout our house are completely 'us' and we have Whittaker Wells to thank for guiding us through it all. It's a relaxed place to be where you don't feel under pressure. They have such a passion, it really is infectious!

Wow!! There’s no other words for this shop. It’s beautiful. I’ve recently had a pair of curtains made and they are better than I could have ever imagined. They arrived within the time schedule given. I love them. The boys are great. Is a must see. Thank you once again

Instantly impressed as soon as your walk through the doors. What a beautiful shop where you can have your curtains and blinds made by hand on site! You'll want to walk out with everything, it's hard to resist.

I Have walked past the Whittaker Wells showroom on a few occasions and when given the opportunity to get blinds for my cinema room I couldn’t help but go in. greeted with a smile and shown 3 rooms with generous choice of materials, the co Owner Pete sat with me for some time where he spent time to chat to me about what I wanted and took me for a tour introducing me to Elodie who was working on some curtains at the time. Pete offered to come and look at the room to give a free consultation and came to measure the windows. I picked a lush material for my blind called Arcade from Kirkby design to cover 3 windows and was not disappointed with the results. The material was out of stock however Pete contacted me after he chased down another supplier and had it with me in 2 months. For a beautiful handmade item it was well worth the wait. Andy the fitter was tidy and courteous. I cannot recommend the finished product enough, I will be back to do the kitchen
