The staff here are brilliant, but overworked, under paid. I used to spend £15K + a year at one time, now probably less than £2K. My main reason i gave 2 stars would be the fact there are NOT ENOUGH STAFF and it takes forever to get served. Then (quite frequently) they have not got what you want having waited 45 minutes in the queue. 5 years ago i would have given 5 stars but the Accountants have got hold of the company and ruined it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sort out your queues, as i drive straight past these day and go to other places. I am your target demographic and you are letting us all down with understaffing and having (HQ not the serving staff) a disrespectful attitude to wasting our time. I will be back IF you sort it out. HQ send a monitor for one week to see how bad it gets, the frequency and calculate how much custom you are loosing PLEASE!!!! The location is so handy for me. I want to spend my money with you but you are making it difficult.

Hilarious that people expect minimum wage shop staff to tell them how to fix their plumbing. Who is the real idiot?

Staff do their best but you'll probably get stuck waiting for some numpty that wants to look at every single plumbing fitting in the store... The biggest problem here is the parking, it's a total nightmare because you'll get blocked in by said numpty, because you have to park on an old forecourt where you can't pass eachother.! Go to the Feeder Rd store if you can, much quicker.

Efficient and helpful staff. Helps to know how Toolstation works to start off with though.

Useful shop, very convenient location, good prices on most things. Unfortunately there is always a huge queue, which isn't acceptable for those working on their own time. It's not really the fault of the staff but they don't seem to move any faster! Depending who serves you, they might be extremely helpful or grumpy. There just needs to be more of them and better managed.
