The best doctors surgery i’ve used in greater manchester. Extremely efficient reception desk, always go the extra mile for me on every visit. All the doctors and nurses are understanding and very helpful. Very quick to get an appointment every time and also a chemist directly outside. Cannot fault this surgery in any way.
The receptionist is so rude, I understand they have to ask why you need an appointment to make sure you're seen by the right person, but the receptionist here literally uses it as an excuse to make snarky comments about your problem. I was told to make an appointment with my gp by a paramedic, and last time I checked a paramedic has more clinical experience than a receptionist. It's not the first time I've had issues with this same receptionist who has previously lied and told me I have nothing wrong on a blood test result, only to complain and finally get my results read by the gp who confirmed I did in fact have a serious issue.
Fantastic GP surgery. I can not fault the service provided to me and my family especially over the last year. The reception team are great and do an amazing job in often very difficult circumstances. I have received excellent care from Dr Mohindra, Dr Mansour and ACP ZaK Toon. All round brilliant surgery and dedicated staff.
In the 15 years I've been with the place I've learnt 2 things, Dr Colligan now retired was very highly respected by me and everyone I know, top bloke. Dr Vickers now retired and some of the reception staff are not well liked for various reasons. I can't pass comment on the other Dr's. I'm now looking to move to a different Dr's, I've had enough of banging my head against wall with reception staff.
My husband has a head injury from being attacked with a machete. His mental health, memory and ability to comminucate has been severely effected by this. My husband rang the surgery to make an appointment over the phone but was rudely interrupted by a woman who told him that he had to complete a form online. My husband explained he was unable to do this but she was persistent and in the end he put the phone down. I called to make the appointment and was told that he would have to ring himself. After 20 minutes of arguing with this rude, unfeeling woman, she agreed to ask the GP to call him. My husband then explained that she says this each time he rings. I don't know what is wrong with this woman but if she doesn't like her job then she needs to leave as she is just unnecessary stress to something that should be easy to do. I have met this receptionist when attending the surgery and she looks absolutely miserable all the time and I really don't know how she gets away with speaking to people so rudely. I have requested that she doesn't deal with my husband in any manner other than getting someone else to ring him back if she answers the phone. This woman is aware of my husbands medical issues but will still ask what he's ringing for! This woman needs to either leave by her own choice or just be sacked due to being unprofessional to the vulnerable group of people that are seeking medical help, not to encounter rudeness or to be patrinised when already feeling unwell. You know who you are because even the other staff on reception don't like her because while waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time I could hear the 3 ladies talking about her moods and attitude towards them. Time to go lady!!
The worst service I have ever received from staff in receptions
The doctors are decent but the general staff is careless. I never made to any scheduled appointments without having to wait, upto 35 mins in some cases. The staff doesn't even bother to update the patients while they wait. Most of the front staff work as if they are doing a favor rather than performing the duties. Really aweful.
such an amazing practice. the staff is lovely at the front desk , always so helpful and willing to help. the doctors themselves are also amazing
One of the receptionist was very rude. She hung up on me stating she didn't have my date of birth on the system. The next receptionist was able to get it very easily
Sadly this practice has gone for very good to very bad. I used to ecommend iot to people I knew if they were planning to move to the area as opposed to the other practice. Now I can not. I could understand some of the changes during the pandemic but nowthey make the whole experience bad.
