Legitimately divine, there is nothing I could say that could sum up just how good this fish n chips spot is. It's immaculate in both presentation and taste. The chips are rich and flavoursome, the batter is light and crispy and the patties are out of this world. When you want a proper good feed up this is the only place in THE WHOLE OF THE UK that I would say is worth getting chippy tea from Vegetarian options: Veggie Patties are a staple baby Kid-friendliness: It's a chippy, don't be a screaming kid and it'll be bless Parking: Easy just park on the road near the shops Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access
Visited today, its about a 15 minute walk out of Hornsea into a housing estate. But what an unexpectedly fantastic fish and chip restaurant!/takeaway. Large portions, lovely white flakey fish with thin crispy batter, the chips were also perfectly cooked. Top notch curry sauce and bread. You need to book in advance to be sure of a seat at their restaurant. Reasonable prices, great service, and they have white pepper!
Haddock, Cod, large chips, 2 pickled onions.. Combined with bread and butter.. A nice mug of tea... Good British fayre, wholesome portions.. A great Chippy, Go on get in there l know you want to,it's the dogs testes...
Haddock & chips, bigfoot sausage & chips, chicken burger & chips all delicious, fast and pleasant service in bright and tasteful surroundings. We were the last ones in before closing and had the place to ourselves but can definitely recommend them.Food: 5/5
I was looking for gluten free fish and chips in the seaside town of Hornsea. Asked a random stranger on the street and they recommended Whiteheads. Google helped me find it. It's not on the front.. in the middle of a housing estate Had to wait until 4pm for them to open but was really worth it. Freshly cooked and was really delicious. I ordered Haddock fillet in a light batter served with crisp chips, they even offered gluten free vinegar. Will definitely be going back for more next time I'm on the east coast 5 star rating!!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Tonight was the first time we have been to Whiteheads. The fish shop was extremely busy which is a great sign and we were not disappointed! The staff worked very well together and the supervisor Dani was making sure things ran smoothly and customers left happy with their orders...... Well done to the staff working so well in bust times.
Best Fish and Chip restaurant I've been in for a long time. Very clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. Called in without a reservation, five adults and two children. Everyone enjoyed the meal and I had a lovely Haddock and chips. Will definitely call again when were next in Hornsea.
Nice fish and chips but I'm not sure how you get away selling regular fish at a size of a small anywere else I've been . Then to get charge ridiculous amount for it . Soon it will be cheaper to go on a boat catch your own fish .
The perfect fish & chips experience. White flakey fish in crisp light batter, along side fresh cooked chips that were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Service was super swift and attentive without being intrusive and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Very impressive indeed Wheelchair accessibility: A couple of other customers were in wheelchairs and seemed to have no issues getting in/out or using the accessible toilet
Absolutely beautiful fish and chips. Good customer service and friendly. Very reasonably priced and quality is amazing and cooked fresh. Quantity is excellent. The fish was tasty and batter just melted in the mouth. Chunky chips. Highly recommend. Parking: Outside parking Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free
