It used to be a good practice but I feel they used the Covid outbreak as an excuse to become really, really poor unlike other GPs who were doing a far better job of looking after people in that pandemic, I wish I would have recorded the practice messages when you phoned in those times I feel they were nothing short of disgraceful. Yes, we are trying really hard to move away but I feel we are not alone with that.As I remember, they were also voted worst practice in Bury, out of all of the GP practices!
I used to go to a different practice but i wasn't happy with service and in the process of choosing where to go next I gave Uplands a chance despite the bad reviews. I am very happy with the change, so far so good, the staff is very friendly, caring and helpful f2f and over the phone.
rude and do not do anything more than they have to. they talk to you like your lying to them when you tell the doctor what is wrong with you.
The worst of the worst! They are rude and do not really care about anyone. They simply do what gets them money. Have been chasing them to send medical records to DVLA to lift a driving ban that was put in place by mistake in November. Still chasing! They simply don’t care. The Ask my GP has always been turned off! The doctors call you back and let it ring twice before they hang up. Save yourself the agony go elsewhere there are plenty of decent practices in the area. I know I am moving my whole family.
Left this awful practice over a year ago,no appointments available ever regardless of what time you call but it's ok telephone appointments are fine as long as you send a photo of your ailment first this practice needs closing
Used Ask My GP to describe my symptoms online. One of the doctors phoned me a few hours later. After a detailed chat he told me to come in to see him that afternoon. He did some tests. After the results came in Dr Hussain phoned me and gave me an urgent referal to a hospital where I had a series of tests and was diagnosed with a cancer. I have nothing but praise for these young doctors whose alertness probably saved my life.
I made a list of other doctors it's easier to book an appointment with: 1. Dr. Dre 2. Dr. Seuss 3. Dr. Joseph Mengele 4. Dr. Martin Luther King 5. Dr Frasier Crane 6. Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman. Being a patient of this surgery is a game of being constantly told to phone back or download the "my GP app" to book a hypothetical callback that never happens, usually when I'm already on the phone to their receptionist, who by default REFUSES to let me see the doctor. I believe this GP is suitably qualified and very competent, but I can't be sure because I've never met him. He/she is 100% the best GP in the world if you enjoy never, EVER being able to make an appointment and being told to call back at narrow windows of opportunity inevitably when you're at work or competing with every other patient in that small window when they actually answer the phone . You honestly have more chance of finishing medical school and funding your own private practice clinic than you do getting these people to actually stop obstructing you and let you just see your GP without playing games and messing you around like their time is the only time that matters. Don't believe me? Try and book an appointment with them, just try - I absolutely dare you!
Nearly impossible to get an appointment for anything. Online only but it's out of service in most of the time. Newborn baby's health check delayed. Baby not properly checked. Immunisations cancelled and no appt. Any health check that is considered to be not urgent by reception staff ! is ignored for over a month! Doctor might call back at any time during day and if you cannot pick up you are screwed.
Has to be one of the worst GPS ever! I have been waiting for an hour and a half to get through with 1 person waiting only to be cut off! It’s absolute joke!
staff is so rude - receptionist speak to people like they are above them. I am a solicitor and never have come across to this kind of rudeness so so rude
