I’ve always been a patient at this practice and I am thankful to have such a good GP surgery. The reception staff are lovely, understanding when you phone. I cannot praise Sue Nurse enough, what a fantastic credit to the practice!!! She was so helpful, understanding and reassuring towards any questions I wanted to ask etc. I’ve NEVER had a problem with getting an appointment for myself or any of my family members. From my personal experience the only issue I had is some specific days the ASKMYGP times were between 07:00am - 07:01am. Not sure whether this was an error ? but it seems to have changed upon logging in recently.

I have never had a single problem with this surgery and the service and support I have received over the last 20 years has been amazing.  I saw Dr Ooi today for the first time when I attended with my son,  Dr Ooi was incredibly polite and helpful and is a credit to the surgery.  My son is a sulky teenage and on the way out he even commented to say “that doctor was really nice mum” and that lead me to write this shirt review as I’m a firm believer in giving fair credit and thanks when it is due.  I am very happy with the service and support my family and I receive from this surgery and I don’t ever plan on changing my GP practice.

Every time I've needed an appointment I've been able to get one same day. The reception staff are helpful and friendly and any Dr I've seen has been thorough, professional, and helpful.

Just spoke to receptionist Lydia..  asked her to get urgent repeat prescription for my daughters milk feed refused and then said can take 48hrs...advised her as my daughter has had surgery could not order earlier and need the milk feed... spoke to her in a normal tone...as soon as I said can I ask question she responded yes so I asked receptionist are not qualified doctors so why do they need to know patients medical issues...as she did not like the question she started making out i was being rude, she stared repeating u are being rude to me...by law all employers tell there colleagues  if calls are recoded and responded when asked about recording I don't know if calls are recorded....I suggest  to the practise calls are recorded because the receptionist  are taking advantage  and just making out us on the other end are abusing them....

I am 67 and have been with the practice all my life, I have always been well looked after. I know things have changed, but we can't blame the doctors for that. I have also seen the newer doctors and they are all very nice

How does this surgery even exist?! No one answers the phone and when they do they pretend they can’t hear and put the phone down. This happened on every other call! The receptionists lack empathy and basic customer care skills. No doctors phone appointments available for 2+ weeks and only couple decent doctors there left. Ask my gp service only available for 7-8 minutes on average so by the time you type the request it closes and you have to wait another day. Most doctors only work there a couple of days a week so if you try getting the same doctor - good luck! Absolutely fed up and can’t wait to move to a more professional surgery where people actually listen.

Spent nearly an hour trying to cancel the appointment and give up. surely this should be made easier or people won't bother.

I have been a patient at Ribblesdale for over 20yrs and personally have always received good service from resident doctors, locums and reception staff. It's true that you may have to wait sometimes but the doctors haven't set out to inconvenience you, they have other patients and appointment times inevitably run over. This year has been a difficult one for me with quite serious health concerns and the service and support I have received from Drs Khan Younis and Kyffin has been tremendous. Especially Dr Khan whose early diagnosis of a problem may have saved my life. They have also continued to operate under very difficult circumstances during Covid. This surgery probably sees many hundreds of people a week and it is more likely that people will register their displeasure at perceived bad service than it is for people to give thanks for good service therefore ratings can appear skewed  in the wrong direction. In closing, the new ask my GP service also works well. You have my thanks. Mike Balfe

I have been with this doctors ever since I was born 48 yrs & I have nothing but praise for it. The receptionists are lovely & always willing to help if you have a problem. I have always been treated with respect by all the staff. The only complaint I have is that you have to wait at least 2/3 or even 4 weeks for an appointment unless you need to be seen the same day but they will get you in if it is an emergency

Doctors are great but the whole "reception" team are utterly pointless. Just turn it into an office with walls if you are not going to engage with patients on entry. Waiting room cluttered with posters with no helpful signs like queue here to book in, stood there for 20 mins and not a single person asked if i had booked in. zero point in a desk. Replace them with the computer check in and dont blame covid. ive opened at least two doors in the bulding by then so wiping a touchscreen down regularly wont be an issue.
