In terms of medical care, The White Rose Surgery is brilliant. However, the quality, excellence and thus popularity of this Practice has affected their ability to deliver satisfactory service levels. I’m sure many patients would agree with me that White Rose let themselves down with their appointment booking system. Trying to get an appointment to see a doctor is difficult. The option to book an appointment via the online system is good but the appointments available are either at extremely inconvenient times or too far in the future. The alternative of calling on the phone for a same-day appointment is a lottery. Typically, one can ring early morning to book an appointment only to hear a recorded message saying “appointments are full today”. I’m sure most patients find this very frustrating particularly shift workers, Mums with young children and elderly persons. There isn’t any provision in the booking system for people who require ongoing medical advice to pre-book an appointment to see their preferred doctor at a ‘convenient’ time.

I absolutely cannot fault this practice in any way. Every single member of staff I have interacted with has been friendly, helpful and professional. Quite simply the best practice I have ever been registered with. 10/10 would recommend!

Terrific GP Surgery offering many procedures onsite rather than a Hospital environment.

The doctors service at south elmsall is good. Things move fast and so are dealt with quickly. There are more gp appointments available here than at ryecroft. I have not had a problem with this practice yet. I would rather things were dealt with quickly than dragged out. The staff on reception work hard and deal with things as quickly and as professionally and personally as is humanly possible. The moaning mary that has ranted on about his taxes needs to engage his brain and realise the world doesn't revolve around him.

Opening times are great. Desk and nursing staff are nice. Actual 'service' (booking appointments, getting seen, facilities, accuracy, planning, management, etc, etc) are often poor. Like most places, individual GPs vary. Some are great, some are not.
