Good quality, reasonably priced pub food in a very convenient location in the middle of town. Didn't expect to see Radler behind the bar but was very happy to see it - absolutely delicious! Cute courtyard seating which was ideal for the good weather. Quick and friendly service too
We had intended having breakfast on the front but arrived too late at 10.50 so decided to try the White Rose and what a lovely experience The decor is far improved from last time I visited and furniture looked spotless The breakfast was DELICIOUS, especially the sausage and back bacon. First rate standard and at under £5 served by very friendly staff We'll be back.
Always a Welcome, and Decent service from polite, well-heeled staff. Highly recommend a visit. Menu looks Great too although we didn't eat on this occasion
Great service from the staff, they are always friendly and helpful. The pub is very clean and the food is tasty and good value. Always a nice atmosphere in the pub, it's well run.
This was not a great experience, if im honest. Many of the issue are simple fixes, but it feel like no one is on top of things. - the QR code to order at the table took me to a site where the nearest pub I could find to my location was 40 miles away!! There was a look of marketing about ordering from the table, but it simply didn't work tried two Android phones; - Menus for breakfasts were still out at 16:00, but they had stopped serving at 12:00 and we typically fancied something simple like a bacon roll; - food was served with no cutlery or serviettes eventually wents for a bacon burger and chicken burger, so had to go chasing; - the table numbers are written quite small in black pen on a dark green background, so really easy to miss, and the staff didn't know the table numbers based on location, so lost place in the queue whilst going to retrieve it which initially we could find in any case. I had already queued once only to find that the first items chosen were not being served. I ended up queuing 3 times. - food was OK. Overall, a poor experience.
Nice atmosphere, old fashioned building but with a modern look inside. Plenty of variety as far as beers on tap goes and the food was freshly cooked, we especially liked the pizza which tasted like it was baked in wood fire oven.
Nice pub with lots of seating indoors and a nice little outside area at the front for smokers. Good choice of beer and food. The food was very quickly produced which was good and it tasted nice.
Nice food, reasonably priced drinks and a nice atmosphere with friendly service. Will definitely be returning
We went to the white rose for food, thankfully we managed to get a table as it was busy, we used the QR code on the table to order as it was busy at the bar, the drink came just after we ordered and our food wasn’t long , the food was lovely we both had pizza. Staff were very helpful and all seemed to be enjoying them selves.! Would definitely recommend.!.
Went here yesterday for a bite to eat at lunchtime. What can I say. Very friendly, helpful staff, great food, quick service and reasonably priced! We chose to sit out on the lil seating area out the front which was nice. I knocked a star off as the Gents toilets near the front are poorly lit. Other than that, it's bang on!
