You may remember Knight’s from the time when the Mumbles Mile was still a madhouse; The George comes from the same stable but is a very different vibe, relaxed and spacious with elevated views of the bay. It is surely the best restaurant interior in Mumbles. We chose from the fish and vegan options within the tapas menu, everything was excellent, and promptly served. Highlights included the warm salad, whitebait and prawns. A delightful experience, next time we will sample the fish menu.
Wife and I visited here yesterday first time. Had a stunning 2 course meal. Excellent choice and value. Quality of food was very good. The members of staff who served us were excellent and always on hand. Will definitely be coming back and we travelled over 25 miles to get there. Thanks again.
Fresh local fish, beautiful staff, delicious food and wine selection I had the best lobster ever Highly recommend from an expert
Fabulous meal & evening again at MK's the food is really delicious. The position location & decor also adds to the experience. There is a lot of fish options and a few veggie choices as well as tapas. We eat upstairs in the restaurant however there is tables downstairs for anyone who is not able to walk upstairs as there is no lift. Would definately recommend this restaurant in Mumbles for any occasion. There is parking available outside on tge road or in the carpark opposite.
Lovely place, amazing food and wonderful stuff! I went in on my own on a whim while on holiday, and they managed to squeeze me in despite me not booking. Food was delicious and fresh and I was really looked after by the fabulous and friendly team! The prawns and scallops were amazing! Best lunch ever!
Absolutely the best place to eat in Mumbles. Superb food, and service and a good pint ! Essential to book, way above your average pub grub in the restaurant up stairs . Friendly atmosphere in bar and live music on a sunday.
Lovely restaurant , don’t go to here if you don’t like fish as that’s their main dish. But the food is incredible
Had a selection of small plates/tapas to share between 4 of us. All really lovely and some unusual options too. Wine sensibly priced as well. Excellent all roundFood: 5/5
I booked a table of 9 in October to ensure we had a table for our annual Christmas meal. I was told on the phone that we could choose from the Christmas menu or the tapas on the night. The guy on the phone confirmed that no deposit or pre-order was necessary. I was phoned the day before our meal to confirm that the numbers hadn't changed, and again, I checked that we didn't need to pre-order and was told no, you can decide on the night. On arrival, we were told that we could only order from the tapas menu. We wanted the Christmas set menu. I explained to the waitress what I was told, and she proceeded to get her mobile phone out and read to me what it said on the website about letting them know what menu we wanted. I explained to the waitress that I couldn't book on the website as it states for over 8 people you need to call to book. I also explained to her that I was told twice that we didn't need to pre-order and that at no time was I told that we needed to let them know what menu we wanted. She spoke to the chef who said that we could have the Christmas menu. The atmosphere was awful. No Christmas decorations, no background music. When asked about the decorations, we were told by the waitress that it wasn't Christmas yet! I feel that if a restaurant is serving a Christmas menu in December, the venue should have at least a bit of tinsel up! Our drinks order took 20 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant being quiet. The food was nice, but we will not be returning. Maybe some staff training would benefit so that everyone knows your conditions when booking a table and also on how to speak to customers.
Lovely venue with really friendly helpful staff & very nice food & wine - we visited on a Sunday so have not had anything off the main menu but lots of friends give very good reviews. We loved Knights restaurant & very pleased to see them back. Parking: There is large car park payable opposite the venue in addition to a small free parking area in front of the venue.
