It's a warm cozy place to get together with your friends and loved ones
Excellent food and friendly staff. Would recommend, especially convenient if you're at the university nearby.
Not a bad pub, set in the park by the boating lake. Good staff and well looked after beer. Great to sit outside on a sunny day
Nice place but the staff could do alot about their people skills
Good food and drink in a pleasant location. The menu was missing lots of items because they had run out of barbecue sauce! That meant the choices were somewhat limited.
Food takes ages to come, it tasted fine and the drinks are drinks. A friend of mine had their meal swapped with another tables because they gave them out wrong and she got given a half eaten chip, pretty sure theres some food tampering laws against that, especially during this crisis.
Only giving 4 stars because the food was lovely, some of the staff didn't seem to know which order to bring out food as one dessert was given before we even had our starters and the toilets were disgraceful, so much for "extra cleaning during times of covid".
