Story

The White Lodge Hote is perched atop a cliff with panoramic views of Filey Bay. It features 20 charming bedrooms, a bar, restaurant, and lounge and is just a 5-minute walk to Filey Beach and a 10-minute stroll from the town centre.

All the rooms are individually designed and include comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, telephones, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. There is a lift to all floors for easy access, and free Wi-Fi is available for guests.

Guests can dine in the relaxed atmosphere of the White Lodge’s “restaurant with a view” overlooking Filey Bay. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced produce.

Afternoon Tea - either indoors or outdoors - choose your spot to enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea complete with finger sandwiches, and a selection of sweet treats! Perhaps add a bit of sparkle with a glass or bottle of bubbly?! Be sure to call ahead to make a table reservation.

Tiring day before getting here at 6. Be aware that the restaurant has a small opening time 6 till 8. 
The meal very good with sensible portions. 
The beer was good I had black sheep. 
Rooms warm and clean. Woke up to the sound of the gulls.

Lovely big room, big bathroom, clean and comfy. The staff on entry were polite and helpful. The dinner we had at the White lodge was brilliant, well presented and tasted amazing. I had a drink in the bar which was well stocked and the barmaid was very nice and polite giving the bar a lovely, warm, local vibe. Breakfast was the same standard as dinner and the staff in the morning were just as helpful as the night before. All in all I will be staying here again in the new year.

I don't know anything about the quality for the rooms, apart for my parents telling me they had the whole of the wedding guests for their wedding staying there. However, the food and staff is very very nice. I recommend !

We have had a short break in the lockout apartment for our sons 4th birthday. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and spacious. It has everything you could possibly need. It is definitely a home from home. Waking up to the view of the sea is total bliss. This is our last night and we could easily stay for longer. The beach is on your doorstep. We will definitely stay here again x

Nice hotel great views from the room, food good bar good, friendly staff and very efficient, rooms clean bathrooms clean. Some maintenance required on paintwork to the exterior and around the windows on the inside (very minor), but does not detract from the good standard set
 Drinks can be a bit pricey in the bar but it is a hotel after all.
