It’s newly renovated. Nicely done. Big garden as well, and good fusion with the original Tudor architecture. I just had nibbles. The truffle Mac n cheese was yummy. Pricy for Leamington Spa, but we’ll priced versus London. It was pretty busy- good sign. So be sure to book.
We have visited the place for the first time. It's very well refurbished. Lovely pergola outside. We have been greeted by a friendly staff. We have ordered our dinner there. The drinks were quite nice. My partner ordered a chicken terrine for the starter which was nice. However, we have been disappointed by the mains and the children's meal very basic burger, no veggies on the side. My partner has ordered a veggie burger with fries and I've ordered the crab. For the price, we were expecting more for the presentation as well as the sides and taste. The fries were not great. The food was ok. I was also very disappointed by the Tarte tatin as it tastes burnt caramel. We might come back if they make some improvements on the presentation, the portions and the sides of the meals. But at the moment, we will probably come back just for drinks but not for food.
Newly refurbished to a medium standard. The portions where rather small for price. Had a Sunday lunch and found the amount of food on the plate should have been more for the money. The staff where really friendly and helpful. Nice spacious beer garden. The beef was tough to cut and even though I asked for it to be well done I would expect it to be cuttable. Will try again in a few months once things get moving a bit better their. Good for a drink unfortunately can't recommend it for food. I hope the Sunday lunch improves for my next visit.
Had a really nice meal for 2 here. My partner had the Sirloin on the bone which was beautifully cooked and the chips were good. I had the miso cod which I really enjoyed. Thankfully I had some of my partner's chips as it was not a huge portion. We then shared 3 cheese board which were delicious but very small pieces and we should have had one each to be fair. We sat outside in the covered area which was a wonderful setting. The restaurant inside was also very busy as it was Saturday night. Service was good considering how busy they were. It was a really nice evening. The food was overall good quality but not 5 stars as it was not exceptional. Still I would highly recommend a visit
My wife and I came for a meal to celebrate my birthday. It was one of our first meals out without our young daughter. The service was fantastic and the food was truly superb. Although slightly higher in price than your average restaurant, this is NOT average, you pay for what you get, OUTSTANDING. I would 100% recommend

Disappointed with food portions and quality. I'd describe it as an average pub food standard, but definitely didn't reflect how much they were charging. We sat in the outside area which was lovely, and I'd go back for a few drinks just to be able to sit in the surroundings, but not for food. The staff were friendly upon greeting and showing us to the table, however the waiting staff didn't really look they wanted to be there and offered ok service. Again for the price, we would expect a more friendly professional manner. The cheese board was shocking. Maybe be suitable for a mouse. Pick something else!
Lovely menu, service and food. We had a £25 voucher for wine to spend. Chose a wine slightly more expensive and expected to pay the difference. However our voucher was accepted for a £27.50 bottle of Malbec. Also received a £23 voucher for next year. Very encouraging. We will be back.Food: 5/5
My daughter & had the special of the day which was a roast. It was served within 10 mins of ordering & was delicious. We were even offered seconds but declined because we were full. The staff were courteous, friendly & helpful. Whilst maybe not the cheapest it was definitely reasonably priced & we will be returning. Thank you to the White Lion for a lovely meal.
Large choice for lunch , very tasty and a great cure for new years eve . The waiter couldn't have been more knowledgeable about the local area we are tourists so thank you Matthew. Drinks are very very nice and reasonably priced . They even gave us more potatoes and Yorkshires throughout the meal . We love Matthew thank youFood: 5/5
