Great place for real ales. Lively atmosphere on a Saturday evening and good food. Probably the least expensive night out that includes beers and a meal.
Another good Wetherspoons, a bit dark, but on several levels. It's a long narrow pub with a good selection of ales available. The covid procedures are being adhered to.
Staff did a well as they can being obviously very understaffed. Burger was delicious. As it was a particularly dreary day, there were a lot of very merry people in the pub, which is fine but actually shouting across the room, worried me with transmitting covid. It was 17.00hrs and I had my grandson with me. Otherwise fine
Nice place to spend time with Friends... You can use it's app to order food from table and pay when it is delivered to your table... No need to queue anymore...
Food ok and service quick. Place looks a bit scruffy and we didnt feel particularly safe. Would have liked more staff to have worn masks, also some had dirty uniforms on. Unlikely to go back.
Nice food great customer service a bit noisy for my daughter tho while eating
I was welcomed by a sticky table which isn't the best during these times. The steak was overcooked, tasted of carbon and was as flat as a pancake but the rest of the food wasn't bad.
One waitress taking all the food and drink orders on a busy lunchtime,by pencil on a pad,then taking them back to the bar and kitchen. She couldn't cope. Surely Weatherspoons can afford electronic devices that place the orders directly to the kitchen and bar.
