Same trip twice in one day ,first guy charged £7 the next lady said her meter wasn't working right after I asked if she could go a certain way, her meter was ticking over fine the whole way. She drove so slow ,I've never seen a taxi driver go so slow, the meter was on £6.50 just down the end of my road and she crawled so slow waiting for the meter to go up and it clocked at £7 right outside my house , she said "Oh yeah my meter isn't right , it's actually £9" I said it was only £7 earlier on but she said well it goes on mileage so its £9! In not a very nice tone. Wasn't happy at all and won't be using them again!
Had a great experience using white line taxis, I had a group booking for multiple taxis with people arriving on the island at different times and they were very professional dealing with this and were messaging my colleague who was late to make sure they had someone waiting for her. Would definitely recommend *****
I looked to see what services they had to offer.
Called for a taxi during rush hour, and they said they'd take 20 minutes to get to me - they arrived on the dot, very pleased. Polite driver, happily made a stop at a cash machine for me. Will use again.
Last choice for a local taxi. Drivers are clocks. ; speed everywhere, ignore safe driving. Drive well over 30mph in 30zones so are willing to potentially murder someone.
Very poor service from white line, arrived 30 minutes later than the time we booked for causing us to miss the start of a good friends surprise party. So disappointed, will never use white line again
Don't claim to be 24 hour if you turn your phone's off after set times, useless.
After a breakdown the rac arranged a taxi for use the taxi was as orderd and the driver and phone staff very friendly top sevice pity i can not say the same for the rac top service and thanks to the staff at whitlome taxi
