Arrived here on a bitterly cold day and with a, temporary, bad foot: TPE to Edinburgh was, as ever, late and I tried to shelter in the almost empty cafe. Presumably as I was not a customer I was peremptorily pointed to the waiting room about 50 mtrs away. I tried to take the matter up with the uniformed guard and I immediately got ‘not my job mate’ and a door closed in my face. Who then is responsible for the welfare of passengers at this station. Happy to give anyone in authority details of this guard but I suspect he acts like this all the time without suffering any consequences.
