The vegetarian option was excellent with a great selection of vegetables. Adequately priced. Would definitely visit again.
Loved the food and the efficient service during lunch ideal to ring ahead
Not to expensive. Friendly staff. Happy to have you even though I was I. My work clothes. AAA place...
I love this place. The decor is seventies style, which I love. Was excited to try from the vegan menu, but they didn't have much on when we went in. We chose the Tofish, Chips and Peas. We were really disappointed, the Tofish was really bland and the peas were just like flavoured liquid, not very pleasant. Chips were good though.
Just had a lovely vegan fish and chips and a decent pint, served by a helpful smiley chappy. Great place with a nice retro feel.
The Sunday roast was lovely I had the Turkey which was accompanied by Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes and mixed vegetables. It was a fantastic meal and everything was hot and very tasty! The bar staff were engaging and extremely friendly and I will definitely be going back very soon to The Lansdowne.
Been wanting to try the vegan menu from here for a while, however, I was really disappointed. I ordered to fish, mushy peas and chips. The mushy peas were flavoursome but the texture was like water with no peas to be seen. Chips were nice, tofish was disappointing.
Excellent food, great ambience, good for lunch or meetings. Group bookings can be catered for.
Good spacious bar with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Great location for a pre-show drink if you are visiting De Montfort Hall.
