I would just like to mention the excellent work and service that we receive from my daughters orthodontist every time we go to see her. Dr Suha El-Hamid is very professional and patient. We feel very welcome.

My child had an appointment with the orthodontist Dr El Hamid and I am very happy with my experience today. Initially the orthodontist was very considerate when I mentioned that my daughter was nervous and she spent time explaining the treatment thoroughly and all the benefits and risks. My doughtier will start treatment in two months and we are looking forward to it.

Our family are shocked of Dr Suha El Hamid (GDC-100408) and do not believe she should call herself a healthcare professional. I am very upset of how she was raising her voice to a child shouting “Do not waste my time again – otherwise!” and “or do you want me to come to your house to brush your teeth for you!” My son has been brushing his teeth 2x a day for the past year. She did not explain any of her tests or results nor did she gain the patients consent and did not use any hygiene. As a dentist she should be managing his teeth and explaining the conditions and trying to help him understand how he can improve his teeth hygiene. However she was shouting very rudely and in an aggressive manner ‘’brush your teeth’’. I also do not understand the purpose of recalling him again and again every 2/3 months’ time. As he was already seen a few months ago and the same thing was said that he does not brush his teeth properly. I believe she is prolonging appointments to claim false NHS payments and not managing patients correctly. When he asked questions about his teeth she did not give him an answer and no management or conclusion was given. As a consequence my son has refused to go to any other dentist due the experience he went through at your practice. I have already written to the general dental council about how I do not think she is fit to practice as a dentist. I called the practice earlier for further details on how to complain and for record cards and her GDC number however no reply was given. I will be now taking this issue further and hopefully prevent any further harm to the public from her actions and conduct.
