Can’t give 0 stars or I would. Left with no bathing facilities since 29 December because of a broken shower and cracked bath to be told it’s not an emergency for them to come and fix and being told to sponge down in the sink. Been told to call back on 3 January to book a routine repair which I’ll probably have to wait a month for and even then they’ll send the wrong person out to fix it and I’ll have to wait ages again. Maybe if I withhold my rent I’ll get something done quicker

There is something living in the loft pest ‘expert’ said it is the wind….. the wind is gnawing wood and scurrying around?garden is unsafe for my children we moved in with no fences at the back of my garden, glass left all over the grass and they’ve thrown grass seed down to hide it all. No storage in kitchen as cabinet falling off the wall but they will not repair it for 6months and told me not to use it even though it is the ONLY usable cupboard. Condensation and mould everywhere!! As soon as you miss a rent payment your contacted within a day to pay.
They're the worst, they have no regard for their tenants all they care about is money, took years to get a leak fixed they kept botching the repair which resulted in the kitchen ceiling collapsing from the leak in the bathroom in 2019, tried to book in the repair the guy showed up on a different day than booked then when I explained I couldn't let him in as I had to go out to another appointment hence why it was booked on that specific day he left then never showed up on the actual day of the repair and it took until 2022 for the kitchen ceiling and bathroom to finally be repaired, I've had a worker do a bad job because he was complaining he was hungover, had a worker be extremely hostile to the point I had to kick him out so I now only allow repairs when I'm in the house with a male relative around so I'm not alone with the workers anymore, I've made numerous complaints about their conduct over the years and nothing's been done. Also just the general lack of communication between workers & WHG is astounding.
Joke company, avoid renting anything from them, they care only about money and don't care to solve any problems. I moved into a building that WHG is landlord and where my neighbor plays music so loud that I can't even watch TV. When I reported it first time, they asked me to to record noise and start diary but when I did it, after 3 month pass no one even care to do house visit and check it. There was literally 0 initiative from WHG to contact me. I had to contact them first and remind myself every time. When finally after my continues reports House officer come over, she said that it's not noise nuisance and can't do much about it! How it's not noise nuisance where I can't enjoy doing daily basis activities because someone in the building want to do concert every second day for over 2 hours!? On the website they have the option of writing a complaint about the service, but do not delude yourself that anyone will take care of it. They will just ignore it and put it into bin. Do yourself a favor and AVOID them in all cost! Every person that I know, that rented flat from WHG have bad experience with them.
Phoned to report a hole in the roof, and was offered a repair slot more than 2 months in advance. 2 months to wait to fix a hole in the roof? Not acceptable, at all. Update: WHG workman came round and checked the roof and confirmed there is, indeed a hole. We were then told due to the location of the hole scaffolding will be needed for the repair, which will take time to arrange. So now we still waiting for the roof to be repaired. I reported the issue in early September, and we may have to wait until New Year that means we could be left waiting for a total of four months for our roof to be fixed. And, in reply to the "response" WHG lodged - this is not merely an "inconvenience", it is a serious concern should the roof start leaking, since the hole is directly above a bedroom. If water does come through it could lead to damage to furnishings and bedding, plus render the room potentially unusable.
Our neighbours have been over feeding birds for months on technically my parents property because the fence has been accidentally built there by the council an my parents are private . The droppings have been going all over our fence and garden. And now we have mice. Nothing at all has been done.
What is the point of having an emergency out of hours number if no one actually answers the phone. My grandparents are both in their late 70s, vulnerable and their boiler is not working. So what are they supposed to do now? Freeze over Christmas. An absolute joke
I dont know why I'm even with whg I have a new born baby and I have phoned them to let them know as well I have raised multiple complaints about water leakin throughout the roof and black mold that covers the whole wall in my bed room where we sleep I have also notified them that my daughter has a heart condition that I have to monitor her all thetim and I can't do that when I'm have to constantly cleant the black mold and all the water just so my daughter donse not en back in hospital it is also afecting my partners mental health due to all the stress becaus of it so I am going to phone them for the ,5th time on Monday and I'm am going to take them to Cort
I applied for a house for about 8 years, until now I have not even been approved on the short list, it is a waste of time for them, no help of any kind on their part and disposal. they answer all questions evasively, discrimination,
Left with no flushing toilet for a month, so we had to pay out of pocket for a plumber to fix the problem instead. WHG are a disgrace. If I could give 0 stars I would.
