Royal mail are absolutely useless. I've today closed my business account and now deal with a different courier whom are excellent. This is the beginning of the end for royal mail. Bye bye.
This post service becomes grotesque and unusable day by day, yesterday they were on strike today they cut working hours from 8-6 to 9-5:30 without any notice on the door so if you are at the post at 8 am and you wait half an hour for the door to open you just wasted 30 mins from your life, Cuz they open at 9, surprise!! Someone come with an alternative this company is garbage!
An absolute shambles. Waited all day for a parcel in my flat. Just managed to catch the Royal Mail deliver guy and he said that he didn’t have my parcel but would be back with it. Little did I know he had left a missed delivery card and didn’t even attempt to deliver it.
This review is for the Darwall street delivery office. It was a different member of staff that’s usually there. The guy said my parcel isn’t here and wouldn’t proceed with just my ID when the lady that’s always there accepts it as I have set the deliver office as my pick up point. He wanted to see an email. Surely my ID was enough. It was like it www such a hassle for him and he took so long only just to say that my parcel wasn’t there despite the tracking saying it was. Beyond frustrated. How many times do I he be to visit the post office just to see if my parcel is there. It’s not past the 18 days as I’m aware they return it after that. In the end he takes my details my address and phone number and says he will contact the post man. It’s beyond frustrating and I am putting in a complaint.
This morning I received a tracking update from R.M stating that my parcel had been collected at 8.10 this morning...Well I was still asleep at that time this morning,and I didn't send anyone else to collect it so,why was my parcel given to some random stranger?Disgusting
I haven't received my parcel it says it was delivered on the 13/09/2022 in email i leave in the 7 floor flat i was told ask my neighbours i don't have any proof the only proof i need now is from royal mail the person who signed for it or that paper proof because i am pretty sure that he left with a copy paper that was signed
First of all it's very claustrophobic in there, secondly its always shut as staff are on strike and lastly, I always encountered a problem every time I visited.
Absolutely useless, saying attempted delivery even though I've been waiting for it all day, they've said this on other deliveries aswell. Also have received broken mugs in package delivered to me by hand, you can here the broken pieces in the pakage. He couldn't care less and said ring customer services.
Royal mail is still LOCATED IN DARWALL STREET THEY HAVE NOT MOVED the post office has moved …. 2 seperate companies. The opening hours have also now changed to suit everyone as of 14/06/21 being open 7 days a week Mon - 8.00 til 14.00 Tue - 8.00 til 19.00 Wed - 8.00 til 19.00 Thurs - 8.00 till 20.00 Fri - 8.00 til 19.00 Sat- 8.00 til 17.00 Sun - 11.00 til 15.00 People constantly getting royal mail mixed up with the post office! They are not. Royal mail is there to collect your parcels with a red card. Or to send items with a prepaid label.
Postman is lazy, never knocks door or rings bell, just pushes card through door and runs off, this is every parcel I want delivered to me.. Tried ringing Royal Mail office at Walsall, they never answer the phone. No wonder people are using alternative carriers. Get with the times R.Mail other carriers email you when in your street ready to deliver, why not you!! You enter contract for parcel to be delivered spend a lot of money then still have to go to delivery office to collect it, with no parking and sullen staff.
