It was the first time we had been here and we thought it was excellent! Had a great afternoon there. It's easy to find and has a large grassed free carpark with plenty of space to park. There is a garden centre not that big but has some nice things for sale and good quality. The farm shop sells home produced food and has a gift shop which is a maze to walk around and is very well stocked with all kinds of lovely things. Outside for the kids they have an adventure type play area they do charge for this but it's only 5.50. You can see and feed the animals there which is great!! Rabbits goats, pigs.new born calf's and lambs. Outside is snack bar with plenty of outdoor seating and tea rooms if you wish to dine inside, the food is really nice! Look at the photos to see for yourself. If you found this review helpful please click like, thanks.

Lovely family day out, cracking value. Good home cooking cafe, nice chips. Feeding the animals is fun mind the goats they will grab the whole bag!..good variety of play areas. Garden centre small but very well stocked

Lovely selection of wares for sale at reasonable prices. Kids play area is fantastic even at £5.50 per child, although I couldn't give the kids as long as they wanted because there is nowhere in all that space for an adult to sit and I am only sporadically mobile at present. The food in the cafe was nice but I had a toastie with literally inch thick 'doorstop' style bread which rather detracted from the filling and the water wasn't quite hot enough for the tea meaning it came out of the pot a bit weak. All in all a good day out for everyone though.

Nice place to visit. Shame u cant picnic here as resturant/cafe is very slow serving and overpriced for basic food. Play areas lovely and added indoor one now too. Animals seem well kept and happy. Great family day out

It’s £5.50 per child to play in the play areas and see the animals. It’s a brilliant assault course type play area with go carts and a separate little area for older ones with a nice tall swing and a castle with slide. There aren’t many animals (which is why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5) but as a play area it is brill. There is also a soft play area now although we didn’t use it. The ham eggs and chips are the closest ones I have ever found to my grandad home made ones so worth the visit for them alone! Beware though it gets busy in school holidays.
