This has recently turned back into a proper pub with very well kept beer, pool table, free juke box and friendly staff. It's a child friendly place too with a great display of children's beer mat art. It now goes by the name of the Clay Tavern.

Used to go here all the time as a student (bout 15yr ago) and it was a busy lively rock orientated pub with lots of cool regulars. Over the years its slowly become more mainstream but its still a good pub with good staff. Just not that individual anymore

Cheapest pool table in town, darts board, reasonably priced drinks and nice outdoor beer garden with shelter and heaters. Highly recommended!

No food available, this is a little pub full of atmosphere. Nice pint of Pedigree too.
