The new management in this fine establishment are working wonders the food has moved up 10 notches from the previous chef the chicken wings are to die for ! The staff are all extremely pleasant and very helpful. The new management is single handedly brought this place back from the brink to be a amazing family pub but also friendly place for the locals to enjoy a fosters and a good ol competitive game of billiards

Avoid like the plague! On arrival: only 2 out of the 6 draughts available and very small selection of bottles. Food : Raw gammon! Girl friend ordered lamb and received rump steak! Returned food received refund and Couldn't leave quick enough. Will never return.

Food was nice here, and the price wasn't too bad. We must of gone on an insanely busy day as parking was a nightmare. The staff seem very rushed but we're still helpful and friendly.

One of the best pub's in the areas, beautiful food and really good service with outside seating area and plenty of room for children to play. 5 Stars :)

We booked the Wheatsheaf for a family wake held yesterday and were extremely disappointed with the service. Buffet food was poor and people were waiting 15-20 minutes to receive a tea or coffee. There were two members of staff working both seemed uninterested and unapologetic for the long wait. Very frustrating and would avoid going there again.
