I recently visited the store today , one of the members of staff was very rude and condescending, when I asked to speak to a member of staff they told there was none available , I asked numerous times! On leaving the shop I told her I would be making a complaint about their attitude and their response was “ good for you “ I have low vision, a neurological condition and was asking if they had an item in stock , they wouldn't look , was disinterested and their attitude stunk! Not impressed how they treat disabled people Edit : funny that I’ve had another person respond to my review , by saying they were served by a gorgeous young lady - funny that because I never mentioned the gender of the person , clearly this has been written by the person involved and clearly shows their immaturity.
I used the post office upstairs, there a young man works there, really friendly and helpful to all customers, the que was so long but you can hear him talking to customers he’s serving each one of his customers he talked to very friendly polite and helpful to them same energy with everyone. Well done
Natalie is completely wrong. Service was amazing and I was greeted by a gorgeous young lady. She was so kind to me and helped with all my needs. 10/10 would come again
I recently visited the store on a afternoon and had a very disappointing experience. One of the staff members was extremely rude and was racist, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the quality of the items for sale was very poor; many seemed old and overpriced. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I am very disappointed with this experience.
Could we maybe do something about the fact the heating is always on upstairs on the post floor, even during the summer? It's hot enough for your customers to report your conduct to trading standards, especially if someone drops in store.
This shop is not busy like it once was. Plenty of choice still in wrapping paper and cards some books, u stairs by lift or stairs is an array of every thing you may need in the stationary department. Added bonus is the post office.
Rude sales assistant post office wouldn't even help me with sticking lable on the parcle my local post office would have given me some tape but not this girl if your buying a envelope and you need help sticking your printed lable you shouldn't be expected to by tape as well
Rude staff. As can be seen on many other reviews, the staff in here are absolutely diabolical. I needed to query a price of an item because it was not marked and there was nothing on the shelf. Staff initially seemed to ignore the fact that I had approached the tills, and then appeared to be offended by me asking for some help and wanting to check a price. Won't be coming back to this store!
I'm old enough to remember when shopping at WH Smiths used to be a pleasant experience. Sadly now it's a soulless shopping experience.
No complaints, the store has always been well organised with friendly staff. My only issue would be that a product I'd been buying for a while had the design changed they were revision cards that had the colour and line spacing changed, with the original no longer in stock, however that is understandable as products are continually updated.
