Brilliant store with such a selection from funko pops to comics such a great place to geek out. Also the staff are super helpful. I come here often with my son and always greeted with a friendly smile. Also prices are way better than any other shop in Southampton for merch
Forbidden planet is usually pretty decent, great range of comics and trades, fantastic 3for2 offer on most of the manga. This particular branches selection of TCGs was a bit disappointing compared to others I've been too
Just what we wanted, daughter is well into manga and more than enough to satisfy her craving. Reasonably priced and found some good deals
This place is a geeks paradise, they counter to all tastes and have a wide selection of items for everyone at a multitude of budgets. I was literally stuck for choice, I could easily spend my whole paycheck here, if only I had the space to put it all!
Went hunting for some Dragonball Z memorabilia for a birthday present the ither day and Forbidden Planet had by far the best selection out of any if the similar stores in town. A wide variety of products for am equally wide variety of interests, and by far the highest quality out of anything else sold in town, so worth the slightly higher mark up if you're looking for genuine collectors items. It's as easy to find something for your mum as it is for your little brother, as there's quite a few hidden gems that you wouldn't necessarily expect to find. I for one always seem to leave with a new tarot deck, and will definitely be back to buy some of the themed cookbooks!
An amazing place filled with awesome comics, graphic novels, pop figures and so much more. Definitely worth a visit and a look around
It's been a long while since I've been in Forbidden Planet. The faces change, but most things in the store haven't. Bought some Manga which at 3 for 2 was a bargain.
Great store for all your comic book and sci-fi/fantasy collectable needs
Just like the TARDIS...Bigger than you think when looking from the outside - the downstairs section is double the size of the ground floor! Great shop for all you comic book/novel/gaming related merch needs. Such a wide array of products. Well worth the visit - well laid out as well, with separate sections for each type of goods. Great selection of board games and if they haven't got it, just ask the lovely staff who were very helpful for us when we visited. Be aware that there are stairs but no alternative for disabled visitors.
Always good to visit a different Forbidden Planet as some have different deals. Snapped up some great bargains. Deffo recommend
