Wetlands Lakes

Sadly no longer open, but I spent many happy hours here. The animals were lovely, especially Noodles the skunk and Frosty the wallaby. You could wander round all day and never get bored, there was so much to see and so many animals to pet.

19.2.17 visit date Very disappointed a few of the animals were kept locked in there pens which we where not told about before we paid our entry fee. We got overcharged for entry fee which I only realised when we got home. There were hardly any keepers about or animals on show . Some of the animals looked a bit worse for wear if am honest . Popped in the shop to get a packet of sweets some the had a large sticker saying £1 on them but we got charged £3 , I understand places have to make a little money but that is daylight robbery. Rang them up to speak to them about my experience the next day, promised a call back straight away , did not get one. Sent an email to there email address does not deliver stating the email box is full of unread messages and cannot accept no more . I won't be going back there until they improve which is a shame

Excellent place. A wide variety of animals for children in the animal park. Specimen lake has now undergone a massive transformation with the biggest carp out so far at 32lb. Brilliant fishing now with every peg different and all double pegs. Great for a social with your mates and the huts situated on the pegs mean your not bivvy bound or cooking in your bivvy if the weather turns bad. Fantastic 9acre water.
