Had the Wiltshire ham, egg and chips....never disappointed with this and have it almost every time I'm there! Lovely helpful staff... the young man behind the bar helped me carry my drinks order to a friend. Only complaint was the state of the Ladies loos....pretty gross with at least four of the cubicles left unflushed...not the staffs fault but should have been checked at 12 and I was in there at gone half past and they obviously hadn't been cleaned for a good few hours. I told one of the bar staff but didn't see anyone attending to them Otherwise, as usual, good atmosphere and good meal deals.
Absolutely disgusting meal! How can you get panini and chips wrong. Over cooked chips, panini was hard, filling was dry and as for presentation, well there was none, just slung on a blue plate. I would definitely NOT recommend!!!
Myself and my friend went for a meal at alfreton. It was absolutely vile! We waited 20 min after our meal for them to clear plates just so i we could complain. The plates did not get removed before we left. Never again
Food was not cooked thoroughly and cutlery was dirty. Staff were indifferent and tables weren't clean. Sadly typical of all Wetherspoons these days
I like Wetherspoons anyway, and visit many, as well as being a shareholder. So this, I have to say, was a pleasant experience. The staff on Sunday evening 8th January were very pleasant, polite and welcoming. Well done!
friendly staff, standard atmosphere but a little slow on service. Not sure if they were short staffed on visit as the young lady at the bar seemed a little stressed so won't hold it against them
Went in for a drink whilst waiting for the kids who were bowling across the road. Great service, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great price.
meal basic but Ok its the wine was issue ordered villa maria not in stock asked for sauvignon blanc not in stock again ended up with awful bottle of riocja thought I was getting a bottle of pinot stick to a something different in the future staff need to know their wines
Really pleasant and warm inside and now the prices have dropped what's not to like. Breakfast was good as was the coffee, much larger inside than the outside front would suggest.
Always busy and enjoyable. Food avasage irjce and never gad a bad one. Staff fine and friendly. Life if choices in drink .
