Come to collect an order, says the shop is open from 8AM, here until 8:15 and no sign of any staff?
No stars.nAbsolutely shocking customer service. Arrived to collect my parcel as per email stating it was ready. The woman on the till was really rude and abrupt.nShe said it’s not ready to collect, so I asked when should I come back. She said she doesn’t know , no explanation or any kind of reason, just that it’s not there. No communication that there is a delay from Argos.nShe then stared at me blankly until I moved out the queue. I have never received such poor service. I’m going to go back tomorrow- maybe they will have it maybe not…boo Argos employee.nn*update Argos have now cancelled my order
I purchased a drill from Bolton Argos, within 3 days it developed a fault, I returned it to Westhoughton Argos with the receipt, original box and packaging, the guy was very rude and told me he won't refund as it's obviously been used, he told me the case has a crack in it where it had been dropped, I asked him to show me this so called crack and he couldn't.nThankfully Bolton Argos are a lot more helpful and I got sorted there.
I went today to return a faulty strimmer, the strimmer wire kept on breaking, had to reset it every 5 minutes, the staff tried to tell me that the fault was normal.nThey were trying everything to avoid giving me a refund, I only bought it a week ago.nI told the that I had already called the manufacturers help line, where they suggested I return the item, as it was within 30 days of purchase. I told the staff that I was going to buy a different more expensive model. The staff member said if that had a fault I couldn't bring it back???nNot good customer service.nThey reserved me the other model for collection in a few days, why would I go back with such poor customer care. Same model available on Amazon with same price, so guess where I'm taking my business.
