As always a good booking with Western. From booking my cab to the driver being on time, polite and having a clean car including the boot. Have used and will use again. Price also good/ competitive.

Originally I had left a 5 star review, however I have changed it to 1 star having witnessed absolutely appalling service from this company. My boyfriend booked a taxi for 7:30pm to catch a train at 8. The taxi did not show up for the time booked and when he rang them to see what was going on at 7:45 he was informed they were 5-10 minutes away. Obviously he missed his train and since it was the last train of the night Western have now cost him an additional £25 to get to work on time in the morning. This is ridiculous. If a taxi is booked in advance for a specific time the company should either ensure they arrive as planned or inform the customer that they cannot provide the agreed services in time.

Western Cars are the best in Derby very loyal patient and polite have been with them off and on for about 20 yrs have tried other firms but eventually they have let me down and always come back as these are the best and rank above all other firms in Derby

Had a pretty awful journey home, then the driver couldn't muster up the change to give us once we arrived home. A pretty appalling service from what is our go to taxi service. Very disappointed to say the least! Really not sure we would use them again? I'm sure there are cheaper and better companies around??
