The Nurses and Doctors are great, from what I have experienced. But, they are near impossible to set up an appointment with in the first place. I called 27 times this morning, unable to get through at all. Now I don't doubt that when I do eventually get through, I'll be told to call back tomorrow this has happened many times. I work, so it's not easy to explain to my bosses why I need to be on my phone for over half an hour, trying to get through to the GP! I also received a call a little while ago from the surgery explaining that I was due my annual review. 'No worries, when do you have an appointment available?' - 'Oh, well we don't. You'll have to call back to get an appointment'. Hmm I don't think I'll be doing that.

Westbourne medical practise have been amazing.  The doctors, nurses & staff are very good.  Ive always found everyone thats looked after me have gone the extra mile.  Thankyou for all your care since I've been with the practice which is 22year.

Absolutely shocking practise. Don't care, reception staff have gone downhill so much. Professionalism is non existantx a once great surgery has changed so much. Such a shame for a local GP. No care at all, no access and your dealing with a barrier everytime you call. Even worse in lockdown even thou the rest of the country is saying they're finding access to GPs easier. Well done

Hit and miss, the little female Asian doctor is okay or at least tries as for the rest of them I would question their qualifications. Same with reception, one day I can ring and book an appointment for in a week or I can turn up in person, ring up and get a absolutely lazy waste of oxygen who will not even attempt to do her job and just says I have to ring up at 8:30 every day.

Tried to make an appointment in person as I could not get an answer by telephone. I was told this is not possible. Took my passport and id to sign up for online appointment system. This immediately sent me an email stating I was locked out. I tried to sign in later and was given an error, unable to login. Altogether total time spent 2 hours, I feel better now so something works. Ps Your website is awful. Your service must be accessible to everyone who needs it. If it isn’t, you may be in breach of the Equality Act 2010.

I got called a liar by a member of staff who didn't think I heard, due to her mixing the names up for an appointment, it wasn't my fault it was hers and she said '' she's a lair she didn't make that appointment, thank god for recorded phone calls.  Always struggle to get an appointment here for myself and son. It's always weeks in advance

Extremely disappointing and useless as well as arrogant without compassion or a caring attitude. We moved to Great Lumley surgery which is the total opposite: brilliant and welcoming.

I was there last week with a wart on my hand that ive had for 4months tried every so last resort the doctor's and i just asked please could you help got asked what did you expect to get from today i said advice and could i get it freezed because thats what doctors usually do help,got told go away and use duck tape bye thanks very much excellent service ah and another thing stinging pains in my side and peeing all night book a blood test on way out fantastic thats why i dont go to doctor's

Very helpful. I rarely go to the doctor, but they were brilliant. They've been very supportive of my other half.

Best doctors very friendly staff always chatty and caring even off the doctors nurses and receptions wouldn't go anywhere else
