A small charity with big results. Oxygen therapy is now used to help more conditions than MS. No injections, no chemicals - just breathing pure oxygen!

Story

MS is the most common disease of the nervous system and affects approximately
85,000 people in the UK. It is an unpredictable and incurable disease, the onset
of which usually occurs between the ages of 20-40 years. There is inflammation of
the myelin sheath that surrounds the nerves (similar to the insultating coat on
electrical cable) which prevents the normal conduction of electrical messages
between the brain and the body.

Mission

- We are non-discrimatory and offer therapies to help alleviate the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (M.S.) in a pleasant relaxing and safe environment.
- We offer support and advice to families as well as sufferers in a confidential environment.
- All staff are fully trained and we encourage CPD of the staff in order to offer the highest possible service.
-Safety of our members is a paramount and we ensure this happens by adhering to our regularly updated reference manual (code of practice).
- Ensuring all equipment is regularly serviced.
- We actively encourage liaisons with outside professionals and services.
- We aim to keep members updated with all new developments in the field of MS and actively encourage self-help and partcipation of exchange of information with our members.
- The above is accomplished by donations and funraising activities and ensuring the proceeds of these activities are spent on the benefit of the centre members and the centre remains in a fiscally sound state in order to continue with their objectives.
