Excellent clinic. I contacted Back in Action with a very painful back condition and was extremely impressed by the staff and the professional treatment I received. Linda Guy, my physiotherapist, was extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed my issues quickly and accurately. With her understanding and treatment I quickly improved and cannot thank her enough for the help and support she gave in my rehabilitation. I can highly recommend this practice.
Brilliant clinic, really friendly and welcoming staff. Have had a recurring instability issue in my shoulder for years now, 1 failed surgery and 6 physiotherapists later I found back in action and Ian Horsley. I can't recommend them enough, within one week of doing Ians exercises my shoulder felt completely different, really knows his stuff and I had complete confidence in him from day one. Now I have finished my rehab with Ian, and I am exercising better than before, and back to boxing which I thought would not be possible! I travelled 5 hours to see Ian, numerous times, and its the best thing I done!! Thanks so much Back in action!
I had 4 injections in total a combo of viscosesupplement and cortisone in each knee the injections were done blindly no ultrasound guidance the day after the pain I had suffered was much worse I had to go to another clinic to have 1 of knees drained and have a guided cortisone injection to correct it, when Ian had originally done my knees they was no fluid build up, but I gave Ian another chance and thought i was just unlucky so i him do both my shoulders , but each injection was £300 even though you can legally buy the product for £81 on the Internet but I don't mind paying for his expertise and hoped he would use the ultrasound to guide the injections, after the blind injections and even 1 of the shoulders he didn't scan to see the prob I ended up in more pain than when I went in with and I am awaiting further treatment for cortisone injections at another clinic who uses ultrasound to guide the injections in correct place, I have no doubt Ian is a fantastic physio but I personally ended up worse than I was after having the injections and over £800 worse off when the actual injections cost around £320 for all 4 to legally buy. he is a loverly bloke I did mention to him about my knees were worse after the injections but he dismissed the comment. ,
I visited Sue for a Sports Massage, just half an hour, 6 weeks ago. I was rather sceptical but my condition continued to improve. I attended again today and was delighted - I understand more now about the value of keeping oneself fit and fit to play sport. Thank you.

"In one session, Ian quickly diagnosed the problem area and determined the best course of treatment. After following his rehabilitation guidance over the last few weeks, I have made a virtual full recovery and my movement is now pain free. Ian quickly sorted my ankle out a few years ago so went back with a knee issue this month. Diagnosed straight away and sorted within 2 sessions. Highly recommended. I will be back with next injury :
Ian is amazing. I've 3 sons who have played rugby up to England trials and he has outdiagnosed HRI Drs. on several occasions. For myself he has got me back in action after a fractured pelvis and hip. Been using them for over 25 years. Absolutely the best around. Currently Covid safe. with everyone at the practice really switched on. Would unreservedly recommend to anyone who needs treatment.
