The West Yorkshire Community Accounting Service known as WYCAS aims to support charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises with managing their finances more effectively and efficiently.

Mission

At WYCAS we believe in:

Promoting equality of opportunity
to enable disadvantaged and socially excluded communities and their members access high quality, affordable accounting and financial management support

Educating and enabling
to demystify accounting language and financial procedures

Creating empowerment not dependency
to provide organisations with the skills to manage their finances effectively

Being locally managed and locally based
to reflect the diversity of local communities and to enable increased take up of services by smaller, emerging and grassroots organisations

As a not for profit organisation
offering services which are normally prohibitively expensive either free or at an affordable rate.
