Stupidly small carpark. Unfit for purpose. Only 2 floors. We were guided to this car park due to a concert at the Halls. Got there an hour early and yet the car park was full! Very unexpected. Don't bother with this carpark if your expecting to park up for entertainment at the Civic. I was forced to park on yellow lines in the end and get a ticket or risk being late for the concert.
Excellent, large, well lit car park. Great for events at The Halls when security staff are patrolling, you can prepay on entry and it's directly opposite The Halls entrance.
Not enough disabled spaces. Plenty of ordinary spaces but went onto the higher level and the lifts close at 6pm, my disabled mum had to walk up the stairs. If I'd known I'd have dropped her off by the entrance as the venue is opposite
Convenient car park for events @ the hall & town but signage for foot exits very poor. A nightmare for people who were walking up & down stairs searching for way out
First time I have ever parked in a multistorey car park and this will be the last .£6.50 flat rate ,only a couple of pay machines accept card payments. Only one security guard ,well, I only got to see one .Handy the Civic Halls .That's the only reason I parked here.
