Was charged £38 for a green fee for the spitfire course. The fairway grass was as long as the second cut of rough at most average courses and easily lost a ball. The first cut of rough was so long it was practically unplayable! I understand if they are growing the course out for maintenance purposes but they should inform and reduce rates. It's a disgrace to pay that amount for a round on a course in that state. There are far better kept courses and cheaper locally.

Excellent Sunday lunch with my family on 4th February 2018. We had a table for 12, six adults and six grandchildren. The carvery was excellent, especially the roast beef, service was great and the children were offered an alternative main course which was taken up. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable and tasty lunch.
