Lesley and I have been frequenting the Jug from the start and love the permanent beer festival and original ethos of no TV's or slot machines, couldn't fit them in anyway. Recently there has been one aspect that has  detracted. On several recent visits we have been subjected to 'Newsbeat', a radio news program I last heard as a teenager on Radio 1. More recently there's been commercial radio with adverts. Please respect the ethos and take off background radio and replace with music, hopefully jazz.
