Hired the function room last weekend for our daughters 18th birthday party, space was great with bar in the room. Mathan was very helpful and arranged food with our budget. Good space for DJ, dancing, food and photos. It would be a lovely venue for a summer event too, as its on the ground floor with doors to the open grass area, definitely look to book it again :
Had my birthday party there, really fun evening, every thing went as planned, worked within my budget. Manthan was really helpful and friendly, I’d definitely recommend!
We used the hall for a party. Was a good size with around 50 people. Decent amount of tables and seats available. There was plenty of room for a bouncy castle outside. We even had our own private bar. You can sit outside on picnic tables and watch the cricket if playing. The only downside is one of the ways to go outside on the grass is near the carpark. You dont have to go on the carpark its self however if you have kids running in and out you have to trust they wont start running around in the car park.
This great sports club Cricket been main sport They have great choice of hand pumped ales well kept and interesting Great comfy place to come and drink good real ale Also clients in here very nice
Nice club,but unfortunately certain members are vile,arrogant,rude,disrespectful and pathetic.Did not enjoy the atmosphere at all. My advise would be to drink elsewhere.!!!!
It's turning into a real professional sports and athletics training environment. It's an impressive place and they also have tennis courts, astro turf a new private bar and lounge and the old gym is under development
Great location with their grounds. Just had an extensive refit which is nice. Prices and parking really good but you need to be a member which is easy to obtain. They now for some reason have a stupid queuing system at the bar. Landlady could smile a bit more though.
The new function room isn't a patch on the old function room very small and pokey
Don’t bother contacting this venue if you want to host your party here. I emailed the venue over a month ago and had no response, I chased up a response 2 weeks later but still no reply. I then called and was told that the person I need to speak to was not available and would call or email me back but heard nothing. Since sent several messages on Facebook but had no helpful response. Also tried to call but now nobody is answering the phone. After sending several Facebook messages with no response they just responded with a rude emoji. Disgusting customer service. UPDATE: Their response to my review was that they ‘never received my email’ which is odd considering on Facebook they admitted to receiving it. Yet another lie!
Excellent facilities for cricket, football and tennis. Lots of refurbishment going on to improve the facilities. Really like 6 a side pitch.
